I pop in there and the first thing I see is Ulrich screaming his head off...great omen for the rest of the evening, I'm sensing.

Although I managed to watch only first episode and a half of the second, I'm really happy I could participate. Apart from CL itself, it was great to watch it with people from the other side of the globe. Thank you, Lord.Quackstar.
Maybe I'll show up on another stream, but ut depends on many things. Like being able to stay awake past 1 AM ^^

Just a quick update:

EDIT: I now have ALL of the episodes is some really high quality for most of them. This includes the music CD's!!! The video's quality degrades as the show progresses: Following is a breakdown of episode quality:

Season 1 DVD rips (OGM, Episodes 01,03-05,08-09,16,21-22,24 Dual French/English Audio, Rest English)
Season 2, Episodes 27-31 English DVD Rips (OGM)
Season 2 Mewtamer Average Quality tv caps eps 32-44,46-48
Season 2 Vchat20 HQ DSR TV Caps eps 45,49-52
Season 3 Vchat20 HQ DSR TV Caps
Season 4 Vchat20 HQ DSR TV Caps eps 66-77,79-88
Season 4 Episode 78 Web Rip
Season 4 Web Rips Episodes 89-95
Garage Kids Pilot

However there is a problem: I do not have the time + processing power to encode all of the seasons. It takes about an hour per episode in Avidemux to output to MPG (the format I want to a. Burn to dvd and b. give people a format that they can actually play) and there are 26 episodes in S1 alone, thats in reality a day and a half of straight encoding if I don't run into any issues. The problem is that this is a family computer (I'm not going to destroy my laptop by encoding on it. It already has enough overheating issues) and it is heavily used...

So my question: Is anyone willing to offer up their computer when its not being used to do some encoding for me? You can pause the process, do what you want, the resume when done so its not like your computer is unusable. I will provide the program and the proper script to correctly encode it all, all you have to do is click in 2 places. Your name will be credited. Any offers?

On a side note here's the audio file breakdown:

Code:Lyoko DS Game w/ripped (not recorded) music, both raw RMI files and mp3 encodes
Subdigitals Soundtrack in FLAC format (courtesy of mewtamer)
A World Without Danger/Un Monde Sans Danger Music+Music Video
Various "extras"

------

In other news I didn't know I could use HTML anchors in posts! So now the first post contains everything about the topic and all the downloaded video's in a nice navigable format.

The next stream will be THIS Friday at 7:00 EST

Hmm... I can talk about it with my dad... We tried to do some encoding (Again, in Linux, DeVeDe kinda... mis-synched the audio and visual) and the last video card ended up roasting one day, and I think he'd be a bit concerned with losing the system again, after two months of it being in computer ICU. It's acting better now, but we haven't gone through a full casualty count.

Especially since this is gonna be my computer in about a week >.> I'd really rather not melt it again.

But still... I'll talk it over with him, it's a good system. It may be a good test.
What kind of program would you use? If it's an EXE, I could try running it in Windows (Dual-boot is so useful~) The computer isn't used for a good part of the day, so it'd have a lot of free run time.

The meltdown must of been from the program itself, as video encoding usually takes place in the processor and not the GPU

The program I (probably will) be using is called Avidemux. Its free, open source, and built in linux and ported to windows, so no need to boot up windows. The encoding takes a while but it's worth it.

The if still depends on how MediaCoder does tonight. I'm currently batch encoding S1 but if the quality is crap and the forums don't respond (All topics are MOD approved) then I'm moving to avidemux. The reason I'm holding out on mediacoder is that Avidemux takes freaking forever (http://avidemux.org/admForum/viewtopic.php?id=7502) and its alot easier to do batch scripting in mediacoder then it is in avidemux.

First I have to say I'm really sorry for not keeping up with the download links! Its so hard to try and manage the amount of uploads I'm doing.

ALL of the episode download links have been updated. Many new links have been added to old and new episodes, along with the video's from yesterday.

I'm moving away from RAR archives because Windows can't open them natively and instead opting for ZIP archives. And yes *NIX users, your archive manager (should be able to) open ZIP archives. If not then there is probably something in the repositories that you can download.

*takes a break

It depends. There might be a major US holiday that I have to go to and can't do it, but thats about it. I'm not aware though of any major holidays that are coming up.

If your worried about missing them, don't. You can always download them

That would be awesome, Quack. For now I'm catching up on the episodes covered so far.

It seems that the video player is loading, but not chat. Hmm... When I redo the computer, if it doesn't work in Ubuntu, I'll try it in windows. it HAS to work there.
