CL iPhone/iPod Touch Apps (ideas)

Postby Rho » Fri Dec 04, 2009 7:07 am

Since to my knowledge, none exist - What ideas would you have for a CL App for the iPhone/iPod Touch? I've been considering buying a Touch, and have this going through my head.

I'd make one, but I fail at most things related to that, so yeah...

Probably something minor, like an app that will beep periodically and have the XANA symbol appear, then have Jeremie's voice say "XANA's launched an attack."

Or a dancing minigame thing... Featuring none other than Paco, the king of disco.

An app which you can use to send to other Iphones. When they open it, their I phone is completely taken over by a symbol of XANA and the words "XANA has infected your I-Phone" appears. They would then not be able to use their I phone for another minute.

Sort of a play-hack.

That wouldn't be classified as an app; that'd be classified as a virus. It's sort of fitting, as, well, XANA is a virus.

Maybe something that would make the sound of a laser firing if you thrust the device forward. It has been done before in different forms; my friend has an app that plays the "Jump" sound from Super Mario Bros when you jump.

Virtualization...

EDIT;

How about an interactable Aelita?

A sidescroller-type game would be nice... Or more of those puzzles from the Code Lyoko DS game (the first one) when you deactivate the tower.

Also, CL episodes on iTunes in English need to happen

Maybe something like that website where they actually made an online version of the supercomputer.

Idea.

And yes, I'm bumping this.

A more interactive feature of LF's "Ask Aelita". I'd get it even if it was a pay app.

A return-to-the-past app.

What? They make apps for everything! An iKnife will probably be created if someone works at it.

I'm working on designing a CL dictionary app. It's going very slow, but still. I'd like to see a CL encyclopedia app. A RPG would be cool, and maybe an FPS as Odd.

TLOAF?

But yeah, that's one of the bigger obstacles. Learning to program in Objective-C. Most of my programming prior to this was done in Just or Visual Basic.

Yeah, I'm TLOAF here. I know Apple products.

I'm pretty sure that if you can find a compiler for it, you could write the app in VB and port it to Objective-C. Apple's loosened their restrictions on the use of cross-platform compilers, so I don't see any reason why they'd ban this hypothetical app (unless the code is shoddy).

Hm... I guess I could do that. I'm still in the very early stages though, so I have no idea when it will get done, if at all.
