You know, Code Lyoko does have a "little" bit of "Sentai" in it. You know Sentai is the Superhero team genre in Japan, that was created by Gatchaman AKA Battle Of The Planets and would create the famous live action Sentai shows that Saban would to form the more kid friendly versions of the sentai shows known as the Power Rangers, it even found its way through other anime shows like Voltron, Sailor Moon and even the 4th season of Digimon started to feel like it.

Code Lyoko does share a little bit of that when Xana strikes they head to Lyoko in these colorful gears, except that they fight in the virtual world.

That's why I mixed CL with MMPR. The Power Rangers have to keep secrets, and they do protect the world from an unspeakable evil. Not sure who'd lead the team though, since Jeremie is the de facto leader of Team Lyoko.

I even came up with a spoof of MMPR's theme song.

Zuko as XANA? I don't think so, somehow. Zuko had honor even from the beginning, and is more of an anti-hero then a villain by now. He's a bit like Sissi in his gray status, but not in any other way. (I think they'd both be pretty offended by the comparison) I could see Zuko as Ulrich, but I can see why Aang could be Ulrich as well, so I dunno. I guess both of them can be Ulrich . I ship both Kataang and Zutara, go figure...

I was thinking of doing Harry Potter, but all I've got is

...where I run into problems is the girls. Hermione could be Jeremy or Yumi, but only because no one else really fits Jeremy. Ginny could be Alita, Yumi, or Sissi. I'm quite tempted to say Sissi because I strongly dislike bratty HBP!Ginny, but then it's a bit hard to find an Alita. Luna...might be Odd, but then what would Ron be? I can't really Luna as Yumi. Possibly Alita? This is confusing...

In attempts to bring this back to topic...

I tried one for Fire Emblem 8 (read back at my post on page 4 for Fire Emblem 7)

Ulrich - Ephariam (Both are strong-willed and courageous)
Odd - Forde (Well both like to goof off, Forde is a painter, and both attempt to be ladies men)
Jeremie - I would say Seth since they both have knowledge but Seth is strong and a bodyguard...Jeremie...just doesen't fit...

Err...This is all I have for now...Any sugesstions for the others?

Cyborg- Jeremie (tech stuff. Jeremie would also fit as Gizmo, but I'm trying to just use the main group)
Beast Boy- Odd (funny guys)
Starfire- Aelita (Girls from another world)
Raven- Yumi (They're both pretty serious and like to wear dark colours)

I did one almost identical to this back at TVTome. Except there I noted that Ulrich is nowhere near as angry as Robin, Yumi is nowhere near as grim as Raven, and Cyborg and Jeremy are almost diametric opposites in personality.

The BB/Odd (WAY over the top) and Starfire/Aelita (naive, friendly, compassionate and powerful) comparisons are almost perfect, however.

Agreed. I guess an argument could also be made for Cyborg/Aelita because they're both worried about not really being human (although Aelita actually is) and can be both serious and funny, rather then one extreme or the other.[/quote]
