Will there ever be a posting of a Japanese CL episode?

Relax, VillieMurk is only human..

Also, there's apparently not a Greek Code Lyoko dub, unfortunately...

Is there a Russian dub?

AFAIK, the only person who's asked VillieMurk to do anything was Obstkuchen11, and they only asked for the theme song. They probably haven't uploaded an episode because they don't know that people want an episode up.

PT Cintra airs Code Lyoko in Indonesia, but I failed to find a site for said channel.
We can hope they dubbed it in Indonesian instead of just adding subtitles.

Anyone know if CL has made it to Russia, Denmark, Germany, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, or Romania? Long list, I know.. I just love finding new foreign dubs, especially those of the theme song.

In Italian broadcast news, CL apparently has aired/is airing on its third channel in Italy. It first arrived to Italy on Disney Channel, then Rai 2, now apparently, the Italian Cartoon Network. However, their website has no sign of Code Lyoko there. Hopefully if it's true, they dubbed the theme song as opposed to just using the French.

I'm now on the hunt for the Norwegian, Croatian, and Arabic themes.

Also, interestingly enough, apparently the woman who voices Aelita in the Spanish dub of the show also voiced Elizabeth in the Spanish dubs of the PoTC films.

Someone's posted an Italian episode up on Youtube.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmKVpi_hzI0

(Other parts are findable in "Related Videos")

..Yikes. I really hope someone else does a new Italian dub.. That includes making an Italian theme.

I've found the entire first season in Chinese for anyone interested. :D It's very interesting to see and Odd's VA is <i>hysterical</i>. Jeremie is a manly man.

And! I have stumbled across just one full episode in Japanese, The Trap. Buuuuut it's in bad quality, the volume is kinda low (someone recorded it from a camera, obviously) and it's on a site that requires an account. However! Here (and parts 2, 3) for those of you who can navigate nico/already have an account/the curious. And it seems the official spelling is CODEリョーコ... idk never knew that before.

To be honest, the less we hear of CL here, the less I care about it in other places.

Sadly enough, I s'pose.

Sissi's voice in Japanese sounds like what would happen if Jodi took Japanese lessons. *_*

To quote myself from BKO-

Carth wrote:So I am watching Teddygozilla in Chinese and this is what I have to say about it-

Milly's voice is cute :3 Tamiya sounds like a man. Sissi's fits her perfectly, or at least her Teddygozilla voice. Ulrich's is cracking all over the place like whoa. Yumi is...Yumi. Jeremie sounds like he's about five years older. Aelita's voice is really high. Odd doesn't say much in this episode but I don't know...it fit him. Better than the French but not as good as the English.

Also, they all seem to have different names though I can't quite pinpoint them, and they made some of the onscreen text Chinese, which was neat like. And yeah.

I have Parts 2 and 3 on Youtube, but Part 1 is over 10 minutes, so it won't upload.

The Italian voices for ALL the main characters seem to be voiced by women... women who can't do a decent voice for a male character.

A shame, really. Hopefully someone else will do a better Italian dub with the theme song in Italian.

Anything on a Russian or German dub?

I have the first two parts of that Japanese episode up on Youtube.. The first part is only about 2 minutes above their idiotic 10 minute limit.

Still can't find anything on the Norwegian dub.

This is good.

The more CL spreads out the better. We need to strenghten the fanbase.

It's too bad about the bad dubs though. Hopefully fans can learn to see past the terrible dubs and appreciate the show for the awesomeness it is.

Have the Germans or Russians gotten CL yet? I'd be shocked if they haven't.

I'd suspect so. Even China has it... and if it managed to survive the censors of China... I'm sure it must have gotten there.

CL was banned in mainland China, wasn't it?

They had it for a while, under a different name. But when the Chinese government found out that it wasn't actually made in China, they banned it.

Wow, they don't want foreign shows? That's a real shame, they're missing out on so many good shows.

Also..
I'd have to say the worst dubs of CL are the Vietnamese and Italian ones.
Vietnamese is done horribly. It's bad voice acting over the French version in the background.
Italian seems to be done 98% by women, except for adult male characters.

And to think Italy has the only CL novels...

How did this happen?!?!
~~~~~~~~~~
Anyways, didn't I hear something about parts of the animation being produced in China? Surely that would have gotten a thumbs up from his most honorable President... er... whatshisname... it begins with an "H".
Contract - you know, legally binding and so-on - and apparently foreign publishers aern't climbing over each other to purchase the translation rights
This was quite controversial when it happened.
Yes, the 2D animation for CL is done by a company based in Shanghai (Hong Kong Animation Services). Based on that, a Chinese dub was produced and released to the public on the 'erroneous' information that the entire show was a Chinese production (i.e. whoever produced the dub lied to the Chinese government in order to get a broadcast certificate). When the truth was found out, the dub was pulled - I even remember there being a press release from the Government which someone translated into English.
Why is it that the Arabic CL fanbase seems to be fairly large, yet the Arabic theme is nowhere to be found?
Another thing I need to yell at China about...
Seriously... that animation is great. It shows very good work on the part of the Chinese. Sort of wierd that they would pull something that shows off good work on the part of China.
And it's probable that at least some of the equipment used to make the 3D came from China as well...
About the Arabic Theme... I have no idea. Maybe nobody wants to upload it online.
Though I do know quite a few Serbian fans... as a matter of fact, Serbia just got some figurines, or toys, or something like that.
Huh. Have to wonder if they're the ones that Marvel made.
Israel apparently got costumes a few years ago, but I found no images.
