I stopped at a Toys R Us while I was on vacation...and totally caved and bought three of the action figures. :*D

I have the Lyoko versions on Ulrich, Odd, and Yumi...the ones that come with their respective Lyoko vehicles.

So far as quality goes...not too shabby. I think some of the details and coloring could have been done better (ex. The lower part of Ulrich's gi is a different color from the top part), but it's a pretty good action figure, and it's definitely nice to see something CL on the toy market after two years of waiting. ^^

The vehicles are a kick to play with in themselves. Ulrich's and Yumi's both come with the addition of being able to shoot things (whether or not this is based off of something that will be gained in season 3...or because they just felt like giving kids something to shoot at their siblings regardless of whether it happens in the show or not...I don't know ^^). Dang, do they get some distance though! X) Yumi's, in particular could shoot way to the other side of my hotel room. ^^ Needless to say, I enjoyed myself.

I would like to get the Aelita one, just to get a complete set of the virtual Team Lyoko...and the Blok and Megatank ones just look so neat that, if I can find them...I think I might cave their as well. It's nice that they're all relatively inexpensive too (so far as action figures go).

The playsets and the dress-up sets make me laugh. The playsets look like fun, but because the figures themselves are so small...the details are sometimes, not so accurate, which kind of makes them fun to look at in their own right. The ones that come with a Jim figure are especially hilarious...just since they really went to town on his expressions. I don't know...maybe I'm just weird. ^^;

The dress-up sets are cute. They're highly amusing though because the weapons come with sound effects that you can activate at the push of a button (although, I think Ulrich's saber effects sound a tad too much like lightsaber sounds...). I pushed the "Try Me" buttons on both of them at least twice, and probably annoyed everyone in that general area by doing so...especially since I was grinning insanely the entire time.

So yes...I think the toys earn a well-deserved 10/10 all around. Now if they could just make a "Hug Me" Scyphozoa plush... X)

Oh...and yes, you're all free to laugh at my obsessive-ness now. :*D
