I think Xana has a crush on Aelita. Not only did he want her memory be he wanted Aelita. Who thinks so too.

I don't think so...taking her memory more or less killed her. And then he just shut off Lyoko as he escaped out of it. I doubt he really cares at all what happens to her...in fact, the entire season 1, he did anything and everthing in his power to get rid of her. ^^; Then again, I am a J/A fan so there is the possibility that I'm being biased. X)
