If you want my honest opinion, I think that Season 4 doesn't have enough new monsters as there are only 2. Could this be perhaps because there is some limit on how many (new) monsters Xana can create? Therefore, instead of Xana creating new monsters (which he only seems to be limited to creating lame and weak sea monsters for some reason) could Xana use Xana William in summoning new monsters from other dimensions into the virtual world which would make their virtual appearance (which would be very powerful alien monsters which would be a BIG improvement if that were to actually happen in Season 4)? I mean, that new red sector (Zone Rouge) looks like an alien sector and if alien monsters were to be summoned there, that would be totally awesome and Team Lyoko would now be fighting a whole new era of monsters instead of these lame kid/toy looking monsters (though I'll have to make an exception about the Scyphozoa, Creepers, and Flying Mantas [i.e. the Sector 5 monsters])! But as for the other monsters, they just look too childish to me.

Now as for the episode "Ghost Channel," that episode was very interesting because of the way Astronomical Xana Jeremy (AXJ) looked who looked like an alien/zombie and also the alien/zombie monster looking versions of the Kadic people he created. I mean, Xana must have some sort of insight of aliens if he did that. Therefore, I do not know why he doesn't apply that insight into Lyoko.

You think there might be more monsters in S4 we haven't seen yet? Possible. Personally I'm still hoping for replika's with original terrain (not just endless mini-copies of thev 4 lost sectors).

But bear in mind, XANA is 2-1 up in terms of Season Wins. We really do need a season 5, if only as a tie-breaker...

That star on Aelita's wrist is known as the Nautical Star. It symbolizes the North Star. Early sailors used to use the stars to guide them and the North Star symbolizes protection and guidance and also finding one's way in life (finding their true home). And since we're talking about the Digital Sea in Season 4, this symbolism of relating to sailors makes sense. Aelita wishes to find her true home (being with her father). Therefore, it also makes sense that Franz Hopper might of created this star for her in order for Aelita to have faith that she will soon find her father some day and live happily. And since Franz Hopper might of been the one who created this star, he might of created these new Season 4 outfits as well (the star already being included with Aelita's new outift).
