No offence, but what exactly do you think I can do about it?

Well, if I knew where to find the stuff in stores, I'd use the $100 I have to buy as much as I could. I mean, who needs savings?

The funny thing is, I find the idea of his parents being artists completely unsurprising; I've heard of the della Robbias before. (For those who don't know... Luca, Andrea, and Giovanni della Robbia were three generations of Renaissance-era sculptors in Italy.) In fact, that's where I thought they got the name from, particularly when Odd in one episode commented on doing well on his Italian test. (The one where Jeremie "Couldn't string two words together.")

Mewberries151 wrote:Also...there was a very famous painter from Norway in the later 1900s with the name Odd Nerdrum. Perhaps Odd's name comes from a combination of these two artistic individuals?

I believe the toys are due out in late Summer, or early Fall of this year. No exact date has been set yet I think...although September seems to be the month of choice.
Mewberries151 wrote:Um...Wartonchan, TaskForceLyoko, and Odd675...I hope you don't mind, but I edited the picture into a link in your posts. The picture itself was really big and was kind of stretching out all the text, making it hard to read everyone elses posts. I hope that was alright. ^_^

Actually...that would amuse me to no end! Although maybe not so much if the kids suddenly decided to go "And here comes a giant FIST!!!"
It'll be interesting to see these guys in stores (and in kids play groups), to be sure.

He did say that artistic skill ran in his family. Scion of an art family, you could do worse.

Would give them time to build up some momentum for the holidays. Anyone care to float a theory about how it will tie in with new episodes airing?

Good job, Mewberries151.

Just picture the kiddies high on sugar and trying to fit into a random scanner just to get into Lyoko.
wartonchan wrote:Yes, I highly think that they will release both Earth and Lyoko Figures.
I'm so getting Odd's earth and on Lyoko!
Mewberries151 wrote:Well...to be sure they've already tied it in with DVD sales. The insert for the first DVD had an ad that said when they'd be released. I'm not sure how they'd tie them in with the new episodes but to be sure they're going to tie them in with season 2, seeing as how Ulrich and Odd are both posed with their Lyoko vehicles as well.
Mewberries151 wrote: No comment...although to be sure I hope they'll all be smart enough to know that just because Odd can do all those really cool flips and acrobatics and stuff...it doesn't mean they can do it too. Pokemon got into huge trouble in certain countries because kids started imitating the stunts they saw there...I hope CL doesn't run into the same problem. Heaven forbid they try to re-enact anything of the stunts in "Plagued"...Oi...
