Okay... I've looked over this thread.

I've contemplated it.

And here is my reply:

Nobody who EVER has watched CL will ever forget it. Ever. You will never stop liking it.

Okay... eventually you might get familiar with it.. and maybe start making fun of it. But that's just what comes with familiarity.

Code Lyoko is an ageless, awesome show.

I personally have never seen it's equal. A group of kids, all good, who have their flaws, but who accept them and work to overcome them, fighting selflessly against an evil. They could take the easy way out, but they don't. They fight because they know it it right. They take great personal sacrifice in their battle, but manage to cope with all the regular everyday problems that teenager's face, and still somehow, miraculously, are able to cope with the problems heroes face.

The strength of character portrayed are immense. The problem, unique. And somehow, they still manage to keep together the fragile bond of friendship, which, even though it is tested many, many times, always prevails and, inevitably, strengthens.

Code Lyoko is a show like no other. Even after three years, after all the hype has died down and it has virtually dissapeared from America, it still manages to captivate fans and admirers. I am one of those examples. I only discovered the show in August and already I feel so strongly about it.

It is ageless. You can watch it when you're eight, eighteen, thirty eight, eighty, and you will still be able to relate to the show. On the CL forums the other day, I was talking with some Serbian CL Fans (the show is airing there atm.) and people mention that even their parents love the show.

The story holds no cultural boundaries. It holds no age boundaries. It even barely holds any personality boundaries. All that is needed to appreciate the wonder of Code Lyoko is a good heart.

If you were to watch this 20 years in the future, it would still be the same to people. Except for the technological changes, it would send the same messages. It would mean the same thing. And it would be interpreted the same way.

Sure, people may say they've grown uninterested. Maybe you've strayed away from the show. But that's only natural. There's nothing new. You will come back to show a lot... and you will dwell on the memories a lot, but even I know you can't dwell on memories constantly.

If CL were to be aired in reruns right now.... I know mostly everyone would take the time to watch it once and a while. Were they to make more episodes, I know mostly everyone would give that 30 minutes a week to watch the new episode.

Code Lyoko is ageless and awesome. I know that everyone touched by it will never forget it. Always carry the show on, even if only in your heart. It is immortal. It is great. It is Code Lyoko.

Continue on the saga. Even if only in your heart.
