Yeah, U/Y fans don't like that stuff.

But I love non-canon couplings because they explore relationships not dealt with in the actual show which really fascinates me. And I especially love slash/femslash because... I dunno, I just do.

Funny though, because I'm not bi or lez myself.

But I should probably keep that kind of talk to the BKO board.

Glad you liked it. I tend to be pretty open-minded about couples. I'm bisexual myself, and most of my writing contains slash or femslash... but it's all tasteful and well written (if I do say so myself. :wink: )

I don't know what attracts me to femslash so much... because, as I say, I'm straight (and have a boyfriend, even) ... maybe the fact that it kind of freaks people out sometimes. Actually non-canon couples in general arount very much appreciated most of the time, especially for Code Lyoko, a fandom which (online) consists primarily of thirteen year olds. And usually thirteen year olds aren't especially open to variety. ^^;; Though I'm 13 myself and I am... so I guess I'm just wierd.

But anyway, what was I saying? Oh yeah, about non-canon couples. I basically like them because so few others do. Femslash especially because of this same reason.

Oh, but I haven't written fanfiction in a long time. I write all original fiction now. In fact... "Let's Call It Even" was the last fanfic I wrote... it's like, a year old.

The kids coming from the middle school (current 8th graders) are quite a bit more mature (mostly!)

Not really. Most kids my age act like idiots online. That's why we're all looked down at so much. (Which really ticks me off, btw.)

I've just been getting online (and being serious about it) since I was 11, so I'm not especially ignorant when it comes to the Internet. That, and I'm a precocious twerp.
