Hi guys, well as many of you know - Taelia's 'Episode Idea' threads evolved into this 'Virtual Season' concept, and so I decided to write up some scripts.
The first, DERAILED, is based on an idea by Vchat, and crossed with my own idea for a similar plot - I hope everyone enjoys and if you have ideas on how to make it better please say!
THE VIRTUAL SEASON
1: Derailed The holidays are over and everyone's back at Kadic - well everyone except for Odd. And when Jeremie brings the computer out of standby mode XANA decides its time to send the team a reminder he is still a threat.

Cheers guys (oh and YDV, I wrote a Teen Titans story you might like).
As for this ep, I'm glad you like it. I mentioned this elsewhere but as written, it's based off a real disaster that happened in Gare Dy Lyon, Paris, in 1988, right down to WHY the brakes became inoperable (though in that case the driver was a moron, rather than posessed). Here's a pic of the aftermath - it collided with another train and killed 56 people;

As for the next ep, it will be Y2K2, the much discussed 'Travel to the Future' ep we've been planning out - I hope you all enjoy it!

omg... that was AWESOME!!! It took me a while to read it, but man, was it worth it! You get an A+ and 12 stars!
The plotline was flawless-- I have to admit I gasped when I saw the words "He's dead."
You've introduced the format of our Saison Virtuelle-- XANA's outside the computer, but he still needs to activate towers, and the gang can't turn it off because of Franz still being inside.
I have to wonder, about that man near the end...
So suspenseful! And I have to admit the part that tickled me the most was the references to LTT theory. Especially with Hopper synthesizing Exertanium at the beginning.
(Wonder how the people of FF.N will respond to that!)

It's a good start, though I wouldn't mind having a go at tweaking bits.
Rhys, any chance we could have Darkborn's "Mysterious Stranger" next? Partly because I want to add in the character I mentioned in my PM,, partly because it would be nice to have more 'normal' episodes before you REALLY alter the status quo.

Well sometime today I'm going to try writing a filler-episode, and I'd like someone to choose one of the concepts we talked over.
As for the 'mysterious stranger', I don't want to sound snobby but it's not an idea I'm keen on - simply because I don't like reading stories that have the phrase 'mysterious stranger in Lyoko' or 'A new kid at Kadic' in the summary - I'll think the concept through though.
So, filler ep, then the 2026 double-bill, and then maybe the 'mysterious stranger.'
And just for back-story, the filler-ep would be on the first day of term, as I've already got some sequences planned for the 'welcome back' ceremonies at Kadic. IDEAS PEOPLE!

I enjoyed it very much. The style is rather different than most other CL fanfics, since it's written in a script format, but I found it easy to understand and visualize what was going on, which was pretty cool. It was well written and quite believable, and the level of detail was excellent. I hope you continue with this, TB3!

From what I can gather, XANA downloaded Odd into the Train's computer. Since Odd was basically a dead man at that point, this was surprisingly nice of him.
