A Code Lyoko AU in mostly-full detail.

The Code Lyoko universe that Elizabeth and I have created is different in some ways from the actual show's universe. Some might consider it an alternate universe from the actual show as a result. Though most of the characters retain some of their in-show personalities and character traits, some characters are the opposite of their canon counterparts.

Sissi, for example, is shown to come from a very rich French family that has been around since the 1500s and even after then. When not staying in her dorm room at Kadic Junior High School, Elisabeth lives in a rather lavish and huge mansion. Her mother was a wealthy and beautiful fashion model and designer, and her father Jean-Pierre is here depicted as not just the principal of an upscale boarding academy, but also is a former stock broker for a firm called Delmas Financial Services. Also, instead of just having Herve and Nicholas as her best friends, Sissi has befriended Jeremie and he others, forming a rather good friendship with Naomi N'Guyen and is the official girlfriend of Odd Della Robbia.

Jim, too, has also gotten a lot nicer - he still is an authority but is more gentle in its use. He also lost 95 lbs and is much fitter-looking. Suzanne, here more youthful and pretty, is Jim's girlfriend - and later his wife when she marries him. They have a daughter together, whom they name Emily. Though his typical PE classes aren't shown in this universe, the only classes that we do see are his Silat classes, which he gratefully teaches to the children, whom he adores and loves like his own. At night, when it is time for bed, he lulls the children into sweet dreams with his glorious voice, as he was a tenor in Kadic's chorus when he himself was a student there. He is also Sissi's protector, caretaker, and guardian, having been given the position by his longtime friend and employer Jean-Pierre when Elisabeth was just a newborn. He enjoyed taking care of her when Elisabeth's biological parents were busy with work, and he raised her as if she was his own daughter. He is also a Vietnam War veteran, under the rank of Lieutenant.

Odd and Sissi have been in a relationship for a while. They have been dating. XANA, who also loves Elisabeth, seems to complicate their relationship quite a bit.

Odd is also depicted here as having astraphobia (fear of lightning and thunder). However, he is not afraid of Jim's powers since he knows that Jim is there to protect him. Tamiya also has this fear, especially if storms get too violent or close to the Academy.

The school is much larger, with more amenities and accomodations for the children. Everything, from the dorm rooms to the Infirmary, is bigger. (The Infirmary underwent its renovation because the hospital is too far away from the school.) There are many more nurses on staff than just Yolande; even Suzanne Hertz herself is a part-time nurse.

Penchak Silat classes are also held at the school, as per Jimbo's request, to teach the children to defend themselves. Though in most cases Jim teaches the classes (remember the prequel?), he is learning new attacks everyday. Sissi had received special training in the martial art from Jim ever since she was a child. Sissi is trying hard not only to learn Silat, but to also improve and increase her knowledge in other martial arts. Her study has allowed her to more effectively counterattack and parry, as well as increase her already-awesome repertoire. All the members of the group possess unique fighting styles. Sissi's is a unique blend of gymnastic maneuvers followed by punches, elbows, sweeps, throws, takedowns and kicks. She often uses the environment around her as a springboard for her attacks.
