Well it's FINALLY complete. This was a huge experiment in which I attempted to put together a Code Lyoko audio production by Code Lyoko fans for Code Lyoko fans. I've ran into several roadblocks during the production stage. For one I do not have the CL OST so I had to go to other sources for my background music. Normally when I produce, I use music that matches the mood no matter what series it's from. A majority of the music here is ocestrated as it's the most universal and can be applied to almost anything.

On top of these woes there was also the mic quality of some of my voice actors. Not all microphones are created equal and it shows. I tried my best to salvage the lines as best as I could but the differences can still be heard. Also I am aware that some of the VAs do not sound like their characters. The auditions were open for a good half a year and these were the best people that came forward.

Now onto the good stuff. Sheesh this isn't all doom and gloom ya know? First off I'd like to thank the voice actors for being such tremendous sports about this. I've asked you to do some pretty silly things here and you guys didn't pull any punches. Plus I am truly honored to have some big name CL fans in this as well. Lilyana Turner and Trillinka are two fanfic authors held in high estem while we all remember Malunis' digital pictures.

So yeah, enjoy this episode for what it is. I hope you guys have as much fun listening to it as we did making it! Yes their will be an episode two. Parts can be switched and new users can take over only IF the existing actor is willing to do so. Also try to catch the refference in the alternate title.

This was a very ambitious project. It ended up like a Jackass stunt. I do understand your buddies' mic problems, but what's with the rare noisy things? It made me laugh for moments (some things sounded quite gay, ) and then go like wtf for some things.

Yeah I should have warned you...my sense of humor can be quite warpped sometimes it hits the mark while other times it flys off the handle completely.

Well guys I just wanted to inform you about the "official" way to post reviews for sutff like this. Normally when someone posts a production on the VAA (voice acting alliance), the review format goes like this. Usually one would comment on the cast individually for example...

G-Force/G Man what the heck was that? You over acted some moments and instead of coming off cool, you became just a random spaz. I was so glad when you got kicked by Yumi because that's what I wanted to do to you sooooooo badly.

Jasmine/Aelita Ahh, now THAT'S acting. I really liked how you both portrayed Aelita's innocent nature while at the same time went for the personality quirks in the script. You walked a fine balance between the two extreams which is hard to do.

Lilyana Turner/Yumi At the beginning your lines sounded a bit spacy due to the hiss reduction I had to use on your files. However, as the radioplay progressed so did the clarity of your voice. I admit that Yumi and Ulrich were the hardest to keep in character since they had the craziest moments in the story but I felt your proformance was still rooted in her personality. That, and I could tell you had some fun recording for this.

Little Vili/Ulrich Alright man I gonna be a little harsh on ya but it's for the better. When I heard your lines, I got the impression that you were impersonating Snake from the Simpsons rather than our favorite green-clad teenager. However, the most important thing about this radioplay is that you had fun. You nailed the delivery on your lines and gave it your all.

Malunis/Nicholas You played the stupidity of Nicholas and the stupidity I gave you to the Tee. Awesome!

Chupathingy/Odd I liked your performance the best as you nailed the characterization (that and your role was the most on character). You did sound a bit too high at moments but one the whole it's all good.

Trillinka/Sissi I couldn't have found a better Sissi Tia. My only regreat was that you only had one line.

Mixing There were some rough patches here and there. The radio effect on Aelita and Odd was too heavy and some volume issues but overall I liked the overall outcome and I'm glad you all do also.

Ill admit im not cut out to be a voice actor....but a lot of the bad credit can also go to my mic as you already know. better luck for me next time I guess (*cries* not my fault I got a deep voice)

Aelita and Sissi were awesome! And Lilyana Turner had Yumi's "Hi-Yah!!!"s perfected to an art form. That was exceptionally funny! Any plans to do another one? And are you still looking for voices by any chance? I'm just curious in case some of our new LF people would want to help you out. ^_^

Back on topic: Jasmine did the best voice (if she's the one talking to G-Force at the begining) of all the others. Vili should try voicing Pokémon's James. And G's overacting killed the thing for moments, but it's his job in the end. Wacky project...

well to answer you question about additional voices needed I do need them. For one, I do not have a Jeremie and many of the pivital scenes that I wish to write and produce I can not due to the lack of a main character. In terms of the characters that already have actors for them if a VA doesn't wish to contiune then they can forfit their spot but that's their choice to make not mine. Aside from the computer genius I'm still looking for....

With a main cast in tow I can do COMPLETE CL scenes and all that what not. Of course if you can't play any of these characters then I might be able to work something out. PM me and we'll discuss the matter in further detail.

When I wrote this episode I purposly made some scenes a little out there in order to "break" the VAs if you will. If they're willing to do all this crazy shiznit and not be embarassed then they're pretty much ready for anything else. Future episodes will be a little more controlled and will feature me spending more time in the producing chair rather than the acting set.

Since this is the first ever audio rendition of Code Lyoko I would like to showcase this thing with it's best foot forward, if you will. Due to my lack of drawing skills all I can make are the simple text titles you see on my DA page. I'm really giving my all in terms of spreading this thing around.

Since Lyoko Freak is sooooo cool, I gave you guys a two day head start and didn't post anything about the production until now. Consider this as my way of saying thanks.

You are one talented individual, and I love the fact that you are able to laugh at yourself and the Gary-Stu-ness of Jin.

Glad you liked the self-mocking humor. Usually whenever I write a radioplay, I usually make myself either the butt of the jokes or a total wuss/loser character. Whenever I spot a mistake other's might not like me for, instead of getting on top of a soapbox and proclaming my innocence I just turn it into a joke and use it to poke fun at myself.

As for Jin *sigh* it's a problem we ACC users all have . Some people LOVE the character (and I mean LOVE) while others believe in the opposite. I really try my best to balance the guy out. For every good deed he does, he gets trashed or goofs something up for the worse. Also you will notice in future chapters that I'm putting a lot more focus on the original group's interactions with each other and all that other good stuff.

Also you said that this thing caught Matt's eye? Does that mean he heard it?! Oh god I would love to hear his comments if he did !

Well in honor of all the people who have helped/supported me in my story, I made this in order to do something out of my comfort zone. The complete rational is on my DA page so be sure to read it and also for those of you have slow computers, the file is 4 megs. I'm going to re-record the file and change the file type tomorrow so that it's smaller and sounds better. Well enjoy it for what it is.

Also just a friendly reminder, if you wish to comment on the entire voice acting cast, feel free to do so. There WILL be more episodes of this so feedback from you guys on what you liked and disliked from their performances would be most apprichiated.

That was excellent G-Force.
You and the whole group did a great job.

This time around the audio levels (or whatever you would call them) were great. You could hear what was being said easily. The scripting and editing was great too.

I'll Edit in more comments later, but I had to let you know now that is was great.

Edit: Hmm . . it looks like I've already added most of the comments I was going to make.

Aelita's voice actor was really good. She didn't sound exactly the same, but she matched the delivery and has a very good voice that is very close to Aelita's.

The scripting was very tight in the beginning, but it seemed to get a touch confusing when the gang started trying their own stories.

Wow...good work....everyone involved.

I though Chupathingy/Odd towards the very end sounded the most like Matt's voice.

Mixing
It seemed like some of the actors needed 'normalization' on their tracks however the overall audio was well done. There was a good mix between the BGM and the vocals. Some of the louder sound effects had a wee bit of digital distortion. When adding those layers, be sure to check the levels so they don't get to close to peaking. It might have happened because of the softness of the VA recordings compare to professionally recorded sound effects was no match in amplitude.

Overall this is fantastic, considering how it all came together. All the VA's did great!
