Creepy-looking is an understatement. Odd now looks like a freakish balloon.

Lol, don't worry, I won't be trying characters again for a while ;) in the mean time, I finished the front legs of the krabe. Posting the pictures kinda reminds me of the lame animation cell of scratchy's arm from the simpsons, so sorry there isn't anything more exciting to post :smilie104:

Once I finish the rear ones I'm thinking of trying a kankrelat, so we'll see how that goes.

I've been nagging my teacher for more tutorials on character design, but he's still busy helping people with chessboards.. :whatever:
A carreer in 3D animation is something I'd really love, since I've been interested in it since I was little, watching 3D shows like Insektors (Which featured David Gasman :D)

Actually I think you did REALLY good on Odd's head, definately the best I've seen outside of the show.

I tried blender once. Either I suck, or it does, probably the first one.

I've been using 3D Studio Max 9, using 'parenting and pivot points' to animate, I havn't figured out bones yet :smilie104: I want to learn blender too though, as I hear it's good for games.
I still havn't finished this thing, the krabe is way more complicated than I originally thought

And by request, here's the walking animation again, the old link seems to have died http://rapidshare.com/files/52870912/2.avi.html

It is good for games, and the majority of the script can be done without actually coding. And bones are actually quite easy on blender, too. I guess it is me that sucks. :D
