What was your take on the Sissi/Ulrich moment at Ultimatum?

It made my day, along with the awesomeness of this episode.

I think you meant 'retaliates', not relates.

I've read this whole thing and this subject has been touched upon only once, and in not the way I wanted: Aelita asking Sissi to knock Jeremie out.

This gets me angry, and thinking. The reason why it gets me mad is because Aelita didn't even bother to ask Jeremie. She has managed to convince him to let her on Lyoko a few times before, though it takes an arguement. She could've been less violent and gave him a kiss or something to convince him if he was too stubborn. I'm sure he would've complied after that. :eyebrow: Either that or he would've been too shocked to do anything, thus allowing her to instruct Sissi on how to virtualize her. Either way, a much less violent way to get on Lyoko alone.

The thing that gets me thinking is the fact that Sissi used martial arts. It was martial arts.. right? Maybe the reason is to show that she CAN defend herself, not just to knock poor Jeremie out. Though that part gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling inside due to my love of seeing my favorite characters hurt. I know I'm strange and I should be slapped. -_- Maybe there is a good reason for this? Maybe they wanted to show us that the girl CAN defend herself ...for future episodes? :eyebrow:

I still wish Aelita would've made a bit of an attempt before having Sissi attack him, though.

But, she loves him to much to hurt him. And you can tell, she feels bad afterword...And we all know Jeremie is too stubborn half-of the time...

I agree with Zeakari, it would've been better if Aelita had asked Jeremie first instead of resorting to extreme measures. In my opinion Aelita can be very stubborn too and this episode is an example. But I like her anyway. :D

I had a thought. In the show "Megaman NT Warrior" (yes, I actually watch that show. I'm a megaman fan.) there's things called dimensional areas. Monsters from the virtual world can be brought to ours, but because they are made of electricity, they'll vanish if you spray them with water. Since XANA specters are made of electricity, if you sprayed them with water, wouldn't the water short-circut the possessed person's powers?

If that were the case in Code Lyoko, I think Jeremie would have thought about that already. So most likely water won't do anything to the possessed person.

Aelita's decision wasn't the best, but I'm still rooting for her as my favorite charicter. She loves Jeremie too much to do it herself (even though I'm sure there's been times she's wanted to hit him....)

Mr. Delmas, while he was possessed in this episode though, ran across the river kicking up a spray of water behind him. And he didn't appear to be affected at all by it, even slightly, so I'm not sure spraying them with water would do the trick. It would be nice though to have some way of defeating a possessed person (or at least fazing them for a while...at least to give some sort of balance to the fight.
