Very strange episode. I'm not sure if I liked it or not, but the Lyoko battles were very nicely done.

Ah another "Pick on Yumi" episode. God I'm a fan of those. But that just not right that Johnny likes her. And Ulrich isn't a stupid jerk. He just helping a man in need.

Ulrich wasn't a jerk. He was being selfish. Helping himself actually. I think he wanted to get back at Yumi secretly. But then it all went Ka-Boom....

And I expected that. With all the monsters flying around all we needed were the Mantas.

Besides the Hitchcock homage? Either it was meant to be an ambush, rather than a defensive perimeter, or maybe XANA wasn't quite paying attention and the birds were simply waiting for further instructions.

I know that the mantas was in the ice secter before. This episode reminds me of the movie "birds"

Probably something to do with Johnny's subplot.

Anyone else notice that Johnny breaks from the established art-style - he has large pupils wth light reflections in them and those 'anime-flushes' on his cheeks.

A nice ep, and increasingly we can see that Antefilms Production and Hong Kong Animation Services are really learning how to strut their stuff with the show - it rules!

Byebye Desert! Ah, so what is next I wonder...

And more smexy evil Aelita - I knew something was wrong when Aelita got into the tower ten minutes from the end - once agin Moonscoop has used familiar elements in a new context, and ths ep had a real sense of frenetic tension - will Aelita get the tower, won't she.

Heck I knew that the Desert Sector would be next to get it but even I was wondering if Ulrich could stop her in time.

The Desert, my second favorite sector, is gone, and the forest was the first to go. It's a conspiracy, I tell you...


But seriously, very nice episode. I didn't (and still don't) like Johnny or however you spell his name, he was kinda creepy in the episode, but the whole "Stats contest thing" was very ammusing. Anybody could've seen that Aelita was going to win (hey, I said earlier that she had a higher kill count then Ulrich, didn't I?) but it was still funny.

My favorite episode so far, RTTP, Aelita kicking (insert BKO language), a wierd little stalker, and Alfred Hitchcock, what more could you possible want?

...except for Odd's anticipation power to come back. I still miss that from season 1...

Anyway, great episode! I wonder what they ment by "The Pretender" maybe it's because they were pretending to be Alfred Hitchcock? Who knows...

I missed the first five minutes of it and I guess the first five minutes were a biggy. But the rest of it was great. Though another one of my favorite lyoko places was deleted. NUUU I say! Using birds to attack the lyoko gang was a good touch to it, since I think we're all getting kind of sick seeing people getting controlled by XANA.

BTW: Who else loved Odd's demise in this one? He starts spouting stuff out like a radio announcer and gets so caught up in the moment that he can't defend himself from getting shot. Ah Odd, what would this show be without you?

Jim showed a strong concern for Yumi, but what in the world was with him when he was yelling at Johnny? Apparently, he's infamous for picking on the younger set.

Odd was so funny, when he kept on going on and on (in lyoko) and then he got shot, and was devirtualized. xDD That pwned. ^^

I was surprised that there wasn't an Alfred Hitchcock cameo. (He was Mr. I'm-going-to-be-in-every-one-of-my-pictures.) Or maybe there was. Maybe one of the doctors...

What sells it for me is Odd reffering to the RTTP: "Arn't we never to do that when Aelita is under the control of XANA?" If that's not fortelling bad things coming, I don't know what is.

Stupid kid (Johnny right?) side plot annoys me, but that's expected, and he'll dissapere after this hopefullly. Stats contest, now if that doesn't say 'We know the fans were doing that already.' I liked it anyway, I knew Aelita was gonna win though. Ulrich with the rock chunk, awesome, he had his a game going to use that so effectively. As par for this season, Lyoko Action was awesome and the real world lacked a bit. Not quite as good as yesterday's but it was still a fair showing.

I liked this ep, actually. =)

Aw, No one likes Johnny? I liked him. He's just a little boy with a crush. It's not like he's an actual threat to the UlrichYumi-dom. He's just a little annoying boy who has feelings for his best friends older sister, no big.

Man, Seeing Yumi like that was so sad! She was all torn up with cuts. I was like, "YUMI NOOOO!"
I thought it was so funny when Johnny just kind of booked when Yumi said, "Their after me." He came back like a half hour later with help. =P

Okay, I know people have to agree with me when I saw Odd's been acting a little wierd this season. Like, he get's mad at everyone for EVERYTHING!!! But this episode... Well, it was good to see the old Odd back. =)

And man... Ulrich totally rocked this episode! His fighting was AWSOME! He was just amazing in this ep. I enjoyed so much watching him work his butt off to stop Aelita from getting into the tower. Like when he tripped her, and then grabbed her from the back. xD

The ending was my favorite part, though.

I don't think there was much to this episode... Xana possessed crows? When will human Xana (if there is one) or some other interesting figure appear???

"Destroy Lyoko's Core" and CODE: XANA is getting really boring. I seriously expected more tension this season of CL (S2's ending episode bragged of a very interesting S3). Hopefully, in the next 2 episodes, the subjects will go off the board and things can get interesting.
