.......XANA possessed the entire bus? Holyshiesse. Has anyone else noticed that some of the backgrounds in RL like, around Kadic and the forest, have become 3D-ish?

Gawd. xD Ulrich and William were awesome throughout the like, entire eppy. He just like dumps him off back in detention or whatever....

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed something about the forest, it's obvious that it's CGI and you know, it's a good idea to Ulrich dragged William into detention because if he knew about Lyoko and Xana, god knows what he'll do.

@Cassius: I don't think they did RTTP cause the whole bus got possesed, so of course they woulnd't remember, that and William had gotten knocked out while fighting, so I guess Ulrich figured that if he put William right where he came from, he'd wake up and think it was all a dream. Clever clever...

Heh...I just posted something in the "Droit au Coeur" topic about that...it's rather interesting that they'd added CG into the "real world" now too. ^^

It's nice to see Xana winning a battle (like in The Key). Just when I thought they were bringing the old format back, they surprised me by making a possessed Aelita destroy the forest sector.

I'd like to hear Aelita talking a little about her life before getting trapped in Lyoko though... Oh well, it's a great episode.

TL, Osiris and I noted the CGi when we saw S3 - it really is something - and it's used quite a bit too - i.e. to animate a door swinging back and forth on it's hinges.

Which is not to say that 2D animation is neglected - William's kick-boxing scene in 'Lyoko-1' was beautiful, and there was one shot in the episode we saw that stunned us, of a car spinning in a 360 after the driver slams on the brakes and looses control. This was not a simple 'top-down' shot where they just rotate the image - the car was in motion and the camera tracking with it, so the car was spinning, the backgrounds were flashing by - it was also done 'slightly' in slow motion to enhance the shot.

Basically - the animation keeps getting better and better!

Oh absolutely! I was really admiring the 2D animation in "Droit Au Couer"...the scene between Ulrich and Yumi, at least through the gestures they animated for Ulrich, were really emotional and touching. And William's battle in "Lyoko Moins 1" was also a lot of fun to watch.

I am definitely excited to see what else they've done with the animation, particularly this car skid scene that you've mentioned. It sounds amazing! ^.^
