yeah, and I think its cool that they used something so symbolic to alot of people..I think they did it because they knew that alot of kids and people would identify with a teddy bear, moreso than say a dragon of any sort.
Amtrak, its everywhere I want to be!

... Oo ... Umm... What?

... I liked this episode, too.

Yumi's outfit was pretty, I thought. And Ulrich was so cute when he said he was going to the dance with Yumi.

I like Milly, she's so adorable. She'll grow mature soon enough... Maybe. :D

I don't like how Sissi acted like such a brat in this episode. And Jim lost his patience with Milly and Tamiya. :cussout: Plus, Christine Flowers was horrible at voicing Sissi. Jodi Forrest is so much better. And Matt's better at voicing Odd. ;)

I could spank Sissi rather hard if I was in that gym foyer. And I could ask Mr. Delmas to fire Jim. Milly and Tamiya are sweet children and they deserve better. :D They don't need bullies like those two jerks. At least they're nicer in Season 2.

Lecture much? Okay, shutting up now.

I am glad that this was the first episode I saw. I kinda liked the attack but if I saw a giant teddy bear coming at me I wouldn't scream...I'd just be like...ok now I am seeing those bears again.

I love Jim's "Scream while I point" look. XD
It's so characteristically like him, and just makes me like him more as a character. He's evolved alot more since then, but this is 'classic Jimbo' here.

What my friend Elizabeth and I don't like in this episode is Jim's attitude around the two children in the scene when they're at the tool shed. Millie said "With you, everything is off-limits!" and rightfully so. The guy even had the nerve to ground both children! That'sone of the places in the series where she and I draw the line when it comes to the Jim character. Good thing he got beaten by that teddy bear, that big (and I do mean big) bully. Hmph!

This episode actually did VERY little on the series, in terms of backstory, as well.

Taelia..., he's not supposed to be their pal. He's their gym teacher and also the grounds keeper.

He probably wanted to keep them out of the garden shed because of all the sharp and dangerous tools in there. He wouldn't want them to accidentally get hurt by one of them, now would he?

Seriously...you need to keep Jim's job and his duty to protect and guide these kids in mind. I believe this has been mentioned to you several times before. ^^;

The irony being that he's more likely to do that than they are...

That's true, but he didn't have to ground the both of them and tell them to "beat it". That was very excessive punishment.

Hardly.

He didn't even give them a detention for later, or suspend them.

And considering they may have tried poking in there on a previous date to get news for their reports (Couldn't you just see it? "The Mysteries of the Tool Shed", brought to you by Milly and Tamiya.), this might not be a first offense.

And even so, he probably just wanted to impress upon them how off limits the tool shed is. That's what a punishment is for...so that they don't go in there again and possibly get hurt or what not.

XD *snickers* True.

...Although, at least still then, it's him hurting himself in the garden shed, and not Milly and Tamiya. X)

There are a lot more legal papers to file if a minor (or worse, TWO) gets hurt. OTOH, a particularily....gifted adult gets Workman's Compensation. Did I get that right?
