...Rumor has it...There were actually 6 episodes of GK made...but none of the other episodes were ever found.

Sorry...I wish I knew or I'd post the links right away. Mentions of those 6 episodes and what they contained can be found at various MSN group sites...I'll see if I can find them again...

#1: that pic you linked to, mewberries, doesnt work. but I trakced it down anyhow and it is merely fanart. nothing to go by as an "official" source.

#2: There was only 1 episode of GK made. If by some freak chance there were more, we would have seen more proof of that other than someones hunch on a lone MSN group.

It's not exactly fanart...and this I know because I made it myself. The picture in the middle was actual concept art found on one of the GK fanpages (I put a grey border around it and added the text to make it into a profile pic for a club I co-own at DA). I have been trying to track the original down again so that I could link to the actual picture itself (not that club's profile), but I think that site may have since forth been deleted as the original link I had to it no longer works. I assure you it is an official GK concept picture, and that it shows all three of their Xanadu forms as they would have appeared in GK. ^_^

I agree with you about the reliability of MSN groups, but it stands to reason that the rumor was there and that it must have originated from somewhere else for the MSN group to have gotten hold of it, I'm not saying the rumors are true; I'm just saying they existed.

Yep, that's the club I co-head. I think I might have found the original link that I got that picture from (I'd saved it in an old Word Document in case I needed to re-link to the site again) but it doesn't look like the site exists anymore.

I LOVE Garage Kids. The CGI and voices are a bit naff, but the music, the darker feeling of it...It's so cool. I'm going to play it now...took 2 and a half hours to download stupid dial-up

Only one pilot episode that was about 5 minutes long.

Maybe someone is confusing someone's fan fic with a transcript or something.

It wasn't the same Voice Actors, so obviously they didn't sound the same.

I don't know about this "pirates" thing, but the ending credits song is "Love Fool".

"PIRATES", I think, is the formal title of the music played in the background during their trip to the Factory (or Garage, in this case), and that continues through until the end of the pilot. I believe that music may have come from another production and was not exclusively made for this pilot. I forget which movie/game/show it came from, however. ^^;

I watch it everyonce in a while. i think its pretty cool.
Yes the vouces are a bit cringe-worthy, but they do sound like the ones from the first episodes!

I like how the scanners are upstairs and its just a load of computers networked together instead of the supercomputer.
And how what happens in Xanadu affects the realworld.I guess thats how Yumi can do telekinesis at kadic, no?

They've got two new Garage Kids themed videos in their "Medias" section.

Sadly...neither are any of the fabled "missing episodes" of Garage Kids.

But they're pretty cool all the same! The first features a 3D grayscale model turn-around of Ulrich in his virtualized Xanadu form (and yes, this does mean that one can now view his infamous "pantaloons" from all angles ). The second is even cooler...a 3D pan around of the Xanadu island and tower seen in Garage Kids. And this one's in color!

But when I first saw garage kids, my stomach for some odd reason over turned on me.

But what about the pictures in the credits? I mean they had to come from SOMEWHERE. Like the six episodes.....? OR whatever rumors...

Likely those were all concept pieces. There's a .PDF file Flyer for Garage Kids that has tons small concept sketches of the characters...likely those pictures in the credits were illustrations to better give viewers an understanding of the characters and their relations to one another. ^_^

Somewhat like the still pictures of Team Lyoko in the original season 1 opening credits.

It would be awesome though if other episodes of GK existed!

ROFL...that's one of the great mysteries of GK...no one knows...no one's sure of anything theory-wise...and quite possibly we may not want to know the truth.
