Random suggestion here, and I don't know if it will help with you, although it probably won't help with your health either.

Try going to an in-state college. I don't know your finances, but you will probably be able to go to school without much out-of-pocket. If your father's income is low, you'll probably get grants to pay for it. If not, there's work-study and loans.

Work-study is great because you are provided with a way to have a job, you just have to earn the money. They'll also give you subsidized loans, which you don't earn interest on or have to repay until 6-months after you graduate.

Again, I don't know about your situation, or what you want to do with your life. It's just a random suggestion.

If you go, your mother won't have an excuse for you to support her.

Yeah thanks, I'll consider it. But something I left out is that I'm working towards getting married. But those crappy finances have been the source of a lot of road blocks towards it. .-.

Not sure how bad your financial situation is, but my folks were pretty much poor as church mouses when they got married, but they figured out a way, so I'm really rooting for you and your SO then to find a way too.
