Socks.
Socks was my tamagatchi. He was amazing. Winning every game. It was awesome. I was on my third generation. {whoa!} He had a kid. A girl. I was ready to name her Lily. Socks and Lily. So cute. Father and Daughter. Anyway, I was on this site when, I realized the tamagatchi wasn't on pause. Socks had a toothache and very hungry and very unhappy. I turned to click on the toilet becuase, well, he also you know what before I clicked on it, he and Lily fell on the ground, and the screen filled with blackness.
What had happened?
Next thing I knew, a circle with wings {looks like a dog} appeared.
Socks had died.
I'm so upset right now. This isn't stupid, it's a big thing for me! Don't say anything negative about how I should get a life and stuff, please? He was the coolest tamagatchi you ever saw. He was a pineapple with sunglasses. sunglasses Lily, well, never knew what she would look like.
And I guess I never will.

I had one of those from years ago. I dropped it on the ground and lost a tomigatchi that I was up to 6 months with. I remember how upset I was about loosing all that progress. I still have that thing lying around here somewhere. Isn't it just great how programmers can make something that you'll fall in love with then make you go to tears when it breaks or dies.

Well, they're just Toys. You shouldn't be getting so upset about them. Because, I got over getting upset about Toys when I was 8. I'm not trying to be offensive, I'm just saying.

You get to love those things like a son or daughter. My older sister use to have one. He or she *can't remember it was so long ago* was cool and didn't bother any of us. Then it grew up and my sister was happy.
Till that dark day when she decided to restart it. It became a very bad word. Woke my sister up 12am just to get feed. Finally she couldn't take it anymore and gave it to me. It was fun for the first few moments of it's life. Then it became a pain in the neck. So I killed it. But I know how you feel. You get attached to these things and hope that they don't die on you.

It's not about the result of what happens it's the journey you had together.
Also, on a another note. I just remember from when I was young my brother would throw is gameboy color at the wall when a pokemon wouldn't do what he wanted. His game boy eventually lost the sound.

I got a tamagotchi when I was 5, I couldnt make it do anything, but drink and wear a hat, so I gave it to my dad, wouldnt do anything for him, so he killed it.

I hate when that happens to me. That's happened to me when I wrote a 5 page essay for school and then I forget to save.

O.o; Eh, I never had a Tamagotchi. -yawn- I had a Pocket Pikachu, but that stuff didn't, and doesn't, interest me. Yes, they're adorable, but I'd rather dedicate my life to saving planets full of strange aliens than to a 2-bit wonder. (Are they 2-bit or 8-bit? Or more?)

Please don't make jokes like that though if you can help it. We've had incidences before on this forum with people making jokes out of very serious issues, some of which ended in a temporary ban. Just be careful of what you imply in your rants. Remember, the Rant forum is an open one. A wrong joke could get the forum in alot of trouble...
