I've been feeling very depressed lately. Apparently, Jodi sent me a PM stating that she is very worried about me. She had kindly told me that I'm spending too much time on the computer, and that I need to get out, move more often, and soak up some Vitamin D from the sun.

She is absolutely right, but what do you think?

I think being on the Computor is relaxing and my advice would be to do what you think is best, im not a great fan of hanging outside alot

Tal, my advice would be what Jodi very kindly suggested - try to find a balance in your life - me - I love being on LF and I love all you guys here! But I also enjoy getting out and about in the sun.

Man cannot live by LF alone!

And don't ever get down - you might spam from time to time but you are one of the bubbliest, most energetic and active members on this forum! Take solace from that!

Yep! They're all right. ^^ When I usually need a break from the internets I go and sew, either that or I sit in the sunny living room and draw myself a nice picture. Feeling energetic? Go outside for a walk or something, or call your friends to see if you can hang out for a couple of hours. ^^ Then when you come back you'll feel refreshed and ready for another round on the web. :3

I've been depressed these last few days too. The problem is, I can't kick back and take a break. What I do when I'm depressed, is to play some music, not listen, play it yourself. Besides, everyone feels depressed, it's human nature. Here, watch this video and it'll make you less depressed.

I'm saying this with no offense, but you need to get a life. I know people say that like "I play Runescape all the time and all hours of the night." And people reply to that, "Get a life!" But that's not what I mean. The reason your feeling down is because of your lack of a life. Take martial arts, even if your taking it with the little kids. To me, that would be the awesomest thing, because I would stand above all the little guys. Listen, you wont get anywhere in life unless you try, and you have to start at the bottom and work your way up. You probably already knew that.

You might also think about going to God. He's the ultimate anti-depressant! Remember, seek His hands, and you'll receive nothing, but seek his face, not only will you find joy, but God's hands come with it. If your seeking God's face for his works, your technically still seeking His hands. You need to want the joy of finding his face above all of his works he can possibly do.
