Well, from one only child to another, I can sympathize. It can get lonely with no sibs to fight with or hang with, and I think those of us who don't have brothers and sisters would sometimes appreciate them more. Or we would go insane having to deal with them and beg to be only children, who can tell?

I have to agree. its really suprising how feelings for a sibling can change when they aren't around you 24/7. Take my brother for example. I used to fight with him all the time and I actually preffered time away from him. but a few years ago he moved away to live with a cousin of our's (educational and psychological issues). Now I always look forward to him coming back home to visit.

Speaking of which, he is coming up this Wed. for xmas. Ill see if I cant nag him enough to sign up here. He's a big CL finatic just like me.

Im glad to be an only child (especially in an apartment this small ). Technically, Im not an only child...I have a sister who lives in the next town over with her mom...and my brother (who is 28 ) lives in Georgia.

I'm an only child, too. I'm so lonely. I even resorted to calling my best friend, who is one and a half years younger than me, my "baby sister". She has a little brother, but they live in Nebraska. Sometimes I want to cry from being so alone. I feel your pain.
