Darn, I'm in it deep if I don't get some advice

My friend went on a bunch of dirty websites and now the addresses are stuck on my history. I deleted them off of the pull down address bar, but now they're in the internet options thing and I don't know how to get rid of them. I'll get blamed if anyone sees them. Can someone tell me how to get rid of them?
Please note, I can access any part of my computer if that helps.

easy go to Start then COntrol Panel then Internet options. There you can delete all cookis history and other things ^^

I did that, they're still there. They're just not on the pull down address bar in the internet connection.

I'm not sure, I think it's MSN. I don't know. We run on a Road Runner connection, MSN accounts. We've got so much other stuff installed like ICQ, Yahoo, AOL, and my homepage is the CODE: LYOKO official forum.

That's called selling out a friend. I would rather get blamed than put a friend in front of the bullet. There must be another way than reformatting the computer, and making my friend fess-up.

Well, that doesn't help, but okay.

Are you just trying to delete the History?

You should be able to just go to your browser history and then right-click on all of the links there and click 'delete.'

That's how it works in Internet Explorer and Firefox, anyway.

Get Spysweeper, Adsubtract, AVG free. It gets rid of adware, spyware and viruses.

What I do is run Ad-Aware SE and that deletes everything

you must have spyware on your computer then, or your not on the admin profile. That gets rid of that stuff ALWAYS! If it hasn't then your screwed to say the least. I do that and I never get in trouble for my naughty search's he he he....

If the problems are that it refuses to stop appearing in the drop-down address-bar then just type in and jump to enough websites to push the dirty webadresses off the links.

Isn't there some kind of "Temporary Internet Files" on your compy somewhere? If you're able to track down that file, I'd delete whatever's keeping those sites still visible! :O

I know this probably isn't going to help much but ive been in the same boat as you so i know how you feel. But then im going to have to go with the making your friend fess up thing. i know it's called selling out a friend and not the nicest thing in the world to do. but it would also prove your friend responsible enough to take responsibility for what he has done. that's about the best i can offer at this point because i suck at computers and dont know how to delete the icons.

sell him out and in the future when you need porn, use a PSP, it's so much easier to cover your tracks. Plus no spyware.

You want to delete the cache, the cookies and the browsing history... and from what I've read, if that didn't do anything then it must be down to the program you're using...
