I hate fans

Not fans in general. No, I'm talking about the oh-so-special, I-know-what's-truly-great, closed-minded, hardcore original fan class. :cussout: The ones who love the original series and immediately shoot down any sequels, movies, or remakes. The ones who claim the original is absolutely superior and those who didn't see it then missed the only thing that matters. The ones who spout out criticism toward differences in sequels, movies, or remakes even if a detail is unnoticeable. The ones who devote themselves to the beginning and reject any and all character/plot changes without giving it a chance, and see additional seasons demeaning. The ones who compare new characters to old, and see them only as a second-rate replacements...I hate their kind. :arg: They grind my nerves with such negativity, and ruins the viewing experience with their biased opinion in the back of my mind. >_<

Don't like it, shut it! Some of us just want to enjoy it without comparing it to the old. We're not interested in hearing your closed-minded preaching for which pwns which. Completely ruins the viewing experience. :pbthbb:

Yeah, those guys suck. Especially because some sequels are better than the originals.

Like, say, Gremlins 2! That was a good 'un. Or Back to the Future, Part II.

They need to learn to be more open-minded, y'know?

Star Wars 4 is a good example. People say that its the best of the series, due to "origionality". This is what i say: THINGS IMPROVE! Movies back then were limited by there technology. They have horrible real-life animation, just like the AT-AT's in star wars 5 who look like they are having seizures. Those movies just don't compare with the new ones. Thease people are very narrowminded, only looking through one point of view.

Actually, the AT-ATs and AT-STs were done very well for the time. I think episode Three for the prequel and 6 for the original are best.

But, this is not the place.

Yeah, Star Wars fanboys are one of the leading sufferers of "stupidheaditis".

I'd say some Star Trek fans come in a close second...

As a Trekkie, I can say that yes, some Star Trek fans can be obnoxious.

"Star Trek Voyager was horrible because of bla bla bla bla. It deserves to never be shown again, bla bla bla, woman driver bla bla bla."

"Kirk beats Picard any day!!!!!"
"no, pikard!!!1"

Etc. So I know how it feels to dislike fans. Personally, I like Star Trek Voyager, but I'm not so militant about it. I don't like those who are.
