ok... here is my problem. where i used to live i had a friend (david) he looks so similar to jerime and he is smart! i love him. but at my new school there is another boy (johnathen) he is cute and funny. the problem is that i love david but he is four hours away. And i am not fully sure but i think he likes me too. any help?

Keep in touch with him online, and if he really does love you he'll tell you, or you can sneak it in. The new kid... if you love David, drop Jonathan. If they both love you... then I would say David since you guys had a lot of fun together. I had a problem like this and then I met Tyler... *sighs*

Like Aelita said, I would just keep in touch with him over the internet. Maybe it will fall into place, or maybe nothing at all will happen. Either way, I would keep an open mind.

Ah how old are you? O.o cause thats a deal breaker here.

1. You shouldn't be throwing around the L word too easilly. It's a special word. What you have for Dave is a deep fondness of him it seems

2. Unless your of the age where you can drive a car or something to go hang out it may not be wise to think that a relationship with David could be anymore then friendship. Distance relationship hardly work.

3. if your gonna disregard my first two points then listen to this: go for them both. Worst case scenario is that both of them like you at which case I'd probbly let Dave down because of point number 2

This sounds like a situation I had to deal with a while back. Take some time to find out if you really like the new guy a lot (Before I went out with my current gf, I waited about 3 months before I did). That way you can get to know him well, and get used to hanging out with him (even though it may already feel like that). I never really expected to be going out with who I am now (in fact, I loved my ex gf more than life itself...and to this day and forever more will always have a piece of my heart).

Just because you go out with one person, doesnt mean you cant talk and still be friends with the other. I still talk to my ex gf on the phone a few times a week, and my gf has no problem with it. Hopefully the new guy in your case will be the same way if you do decide to go that route.

my advice would be to say to david "I want to talk about us" if he changes the subject or blows you off he doesn't care about "us" so go for jonathan if he tells you there is no us, again, go for jonathan, however if he talks to you and believes in an "us" and that it could work take the advice of Bart Simpson "cash in twice!" i.e. go for both and see who breaks up with you first then you have the other to fall back on

I say you take David. You guys obviously know each other very well and people that were friends make the best relationships. Two good friends of mine are dating and their relationship is extremely strong. Not even rumors (and yes, there are some) can tear them apart. You don't now Johathan as well as David so just follow your heart and pick the one you like more. Then again, my heart is a dead one and I might not always make the right decisions about love.
