I finally caved and made a wallet. I fear my soul is going to be sucked out of me.

Doesn't help that I'm a Nvidia guy myself.

Just use CUDAminer, works great for me. I have over 40000 DOGE at the moment.

I'm surprised at the growing legitimacy of dogecoin. The Olympic team fundraising certainly did the currency a fair bit of good.

For a currency like Dogecoin, it's basically done entirely with GPUs. Since I don't have an AMD GPU in my desktops (which work best for mining, I've noticed), I'm looking into cloud mining services like CEX.IO.
