Yep, IEEE has now ratified the 802.11n standard of Wi-Fi as an official standard. It's been in draft since 2006.

Discuss.

Pretty cool stuff, but I think my ISP's the speed bottleneck in this case.

Ditto for me as well. I heard a report on PCWorld where a guy had a special DSL line installed that uses two cables compared to one for maximum speed. It sounded pretty awesome.

I've been using this "official standard" for a couple of years now... i cant tell a difference but it could be because ive got like three outer computers constantly sending stuff between each outer via wi-fi and lan (it apparently works faster)
