I normal have no trouble at all...

Run in compatibility mode (XPsp2 and such) that's what I do, or if all else fails, try running it as admin. those two usually work for older games... keyword... Usually.

I know I'm probably the ONLY person in the world who can half stand Vista (Gasps) but once you learn the tricks it's not too bad.

Wait what am I saying... I take it back, please don t kill me. :D

I have the 64 bit version of Vista, its served me well, once you get used to it. Of course, taking computer courses, and one whole class dedicated to Vista, you get to know the ins and outs.

As far as for your problem, running it in Admin and Compatibility mode are your best shots. I guess Microsoft figures that people are using Vista for the newest games.
