What do you think about programming? Did anyone try to program something yet? Who is? What languages do you use? Any encounters with specific situations?

programming. I've been learning it since I was 7 I think on old DOS 1 MB RAM 200 MB HDD machine with Cyrix 386 with qbasic and turbopascal onboard. I've learned BASIC,C,PASCAL,PHP,ASSEMBLER, I actively program in 3 ones from the end of the list, and I regularly use programming to solve homeworks.

Yeah, I can do Java. With a .bat file, it's as good as C++ for double-clicking to run goodness on anyone with Java installed.

I don't do it as much as I used to, but I've put together some programs. Probably my favories I've done a text-based dungeon crawl game and my program that used for loops to brute force the bell curve distribution of a dice roll of X Y-sided dice.

I was even a Software Engineering major for a semester. I'm in Political Science now (and no, I'm not pre-law!).
