Lists of 5

Postby Stonecreek » Sun Nov 07, 2010 1:44 pm

This is a pretty simple game. A person comes up with a list of five things (favorites, bests, worsts, likes, dislikes, etc.) and posts them. It's like the drabble game in the previous poster leaves a prompt for the next person to answer. So, here goes:

Best cover songs
1. Creep - Axium (original by Radiohead) [WARNING - contains profanity]
2. Wonderwall - Ryan Adams (original by Oasis)
3. Firestarter - Jimmy Eat World (original by the Prodigy)
4. Say it Right - Bloc Party (original by Nelly Furtado)
5. Hit Me Baby One More Time - Weezer (original by Britney Spears)

Next list: I'll start simple...5 favorite beverages.

I think I quite like the idea of this game! But man this is gonna be hard...

1. Strawberry lemonade
2. Strawberry soda
3. V8 Splash
4. Sweet Tea
5. Water.

Yes, I'm kind of a hummingbird. And water needs more love!

Alright, five people you would want to invite to lunch! Living, dead, not actually existent, not actually human, whatever!

Hm.

1. George Washington
2. Queen Elizabeth II
3. Harry Potter
4. Superman
5. Taylor Launtner

Hmm, two-fifths of my list is British. And I wonder how George Washington would get along with the Queen of the United Kingdom.

Let's try... your top five places you don't want to see any time in your life.

In no particular order...

1. The inside of a prison
2. a garbage dump
3. a nudist beach full of octogenarians
4. Death Valley
5. And, of course...New Jersey.

Five people you'd love to be stuck in a dark closet for five minutes with.

Also in no particular order:

1. Taylor Launtner
2. Chord Overstreet*
3. Joseph Gordon-Levitt
4. Chris Evans
5. Hal Sparks

*Don't click that at work, Stoney. You may get odd looks.

I would also like to emphasize the fact that Johnny Depp is not on that list. I do not find Johnny Depp attractive. At all. As for the next list, how about... five historical events you wish you could have witnessed.

This list got changed around several times since I kept changing my mind... It was really hard to pick. I just went for something in each of the fandoms I've been heavily into in the last few years.

I sadly can't link some of these because I'm blocked.

... These are in order of when they were read, from oldest to most recent.

1. Through These Eyes by CaptainTinaRaven (South Park; Kenny/Cartman)
2. Poison Apple by Robin Rocks (Death Note; Light/L)
3. Cat Paws by Zooie (Gundam Wing; very light Duo/Heero)
4. Through The Glass Darkly by valkyrie-alex (Static Shock Virgil (Static)/Richie (Gear))
5. Sight the King by olesia.love (Yu-Gi-Oh; Puzzleshipping)

Wow, I just realized I already (sorta) created this game...two years ago. It's here, but feel free to ignore it as it only got one response. Anyway, answering the question...

1. The Adventures of Milo and Otis (I watched that one way too many times...)
2. The Neverending Story
3. The original Star Wars trilogy (off of pirated VHS tapes, even!)
4. The Lion King (late childhood, but still...)
5. Home Alone (I always wanted to do that...)

Next list: Your favorite 5 cancelled/no longer aired TV shows.

You're asking a bibliophile this...

1. Breaking Dawn (bad writing 101)
2. Their Eyes Were Watching God (I could not stand that book in high school)
3. Waiting for Godot (sense, it is not made!)
4. The whole harlequin genre of books
5. The Bible (only 'cause of all the trouble it indirectly causes)

Your five most-used phrases.
