Yeah, but XANA had William's heart partitioned off and a secondary circulatory system installed. You'll need something like this:
William Dunbar - Rasputin'd by Yumi Ishiyama, 9:23 AM. Manages to emerge from the body of water used afterwards. Odd attempts to use various vampire killing techniques on him, to no avail. Finally taken down at 9:40 AM by Ichigo Kurosaki, as revenge over William's registration of the same sword size he uses.
FOR THE CURIOUS: "Rasputin'd" refers to the excess needed to finally execute Grigori Rasputin. He was shot, stabbed, set on fire, and drowned, for the most part in that order, and may have had a heart attack somewhere down the line.
