Well, that'd involve finding a place on the property to put it, getting the O.K. (and the funding) from the Boss, working with the Building Authorities, etc. etc., Might not happen, and if it does, it WILL take time...

OTOH, I have an idea. I know of a large houseboat in good order for rent; we could dock it by our pier beside the beach and designate it Villa X. Would that be satisfactory? It wouldn't have a garden at the front like our other villas, although I think it has some potted plants at the front...

Not really, but it *is* better stocked and furnished than our regular villas, except Villa I, which was particularly set up for entertaining...

We've had visitors docked at our pier before, including one that was here during Ivan last year. 90% of the country lost their rooves. The main hotel didn't (although three of the villas did; one out of three is still far better than the national 90% average), and the guest was safely evacuated from his yacht half a day before the storm hit. The yacht was just about broken in two and the main pieces were found half a mile inland, but he wasn't in it. He was safe the whole time, as will you be, whether or not a hurricane hits.

Sir, the boat will be moored in a shallow draught. There will only be about three feet between the bottom of the boat and the bottom of the water. That's greater than the distance between the bottom of the boat and the floor your bed is on. So even if the unthinkable happens and the well-constructed and heavily-tarred hull were to be breached on this mooring with no nearby protruding rocks, the boat won't sink far enough for you to get wet, much less drown.
