Just because I like it doesn't mean I'm aethist. The Golden Compass is an amazing book, and if you don't go and see the movie just because it's anti-church, doesn't that say that your faith is weaker than mine? That you're not willing to put faith on trial?

Look, just go into it with an open mind. ANd no one is gonna stop me from seeing a movie rendition of one of the greatest books of all time.

There's a difference between Faith on Trial and seeing a movie just because you liked the book. This is not a question of faith, its a question of the world's influence. We are to "be in the world but not of it". If you wanna see the movie, go ahead, just please don't attack the picketers.
